... Will and I met Herb when he sat in with us on a NOBI POOHSEA
date in May 2016 BC (before covid) at John and Peter's. In 2017, Will got him on his radio show to do an interview and provide some back-stories. Spring 2019 we were shut
down.. no gigs, covid closed everything..
.. when we heard he passed away in his sleep it was a shock, a vintage vacuum tube in our life amplifier went dim, one of a kind, can't replace it, now no sound.
We had just started making time, to reconnect, post covid recovery
11/21/21 tracking again......
... he left us these: a handwritten quote by Hugh Prather on his Christmas card to us,
"Remain in the present. Treat others gently. Love and laugh easily. What more is there to do than this?" and, in September, he gave us a blank labeled white CD with the tracks of his latest
solo project. No track listing, nothing. He said it was recorded in Spring of 2023 in a studio in Brooklyn ...
.. I just recently found a bandcamp reference to re-treatments of Herb's work which align with the
dates he mentioned in the recording he gave us. The following tracks are quite possibly the genesis of the original soloist's intention, for subsequent generations to plumb, who knows ? ..
.. let Herb's spirit live on.

Jim can arrange with Nick Horner to forward both of these to include on your site too, as they are clearly collaborative releases.

soon have not two, but four(!) releases to offer that will never go out of print and may even bring in a bit o' lunch $.
